You were created for unity.
Sound crazy? Take a look at your physical body. If you are a male you were made for union with a female. If you are a female you are made for union with a male. Simply, the Creator made human beings sexual beings. But, there is so much more to your whole person than just your physical body. In fact, the "incompleteness" of your body (when without the union of your spouse) represents more than just your physical make up. What your body really shows is that you are incomplete without God. You were made for spiritual union with Him.

You were created for happiness.
So how do you live out your sexuality in such a way that will make you and others ultimately happy and will lead you to union with God? God, your Maker, gives you the blueprint: it's called chastity. Chastity helps you understand God Himself and the way He loves you. He loves you with a self-sacrificial love that seeks your ultimate good. You must sacrifice to make yourself a pure gift to others, seeking their ultimate good. This is what God has done and does. This is true love. Chastity is meant to bring you to ultimate happiness, toward a holy (and pleasurable) union with your spouse, and toward final union with God.
