The Pure By Choice Purity Revolution Rally is an exciting event, BUT it’s only part of the picture. Pure By Choice is more than an event, it’s a network of faith-based abstinence programs, community organizations, churches and schools that are already committed to this message. It’s all about promoting an environment of education, encouragement and support to help our young people make and maintain positive choices for purity until marriage. This requires the development of community-based education to prepare youth prior to the rally and to connect with youth at the community level after the event to ensure they are able to maintain their pledge to purity.
Abstinence Clearinghouse
The Abstinence Clearinghouse (www.abstinence.net) promotes the appreciation for and practice of sexual abstinence (purity) until marriage through the distribution of age appropriate, factual and medically-referenced materials. They are a clearinghouse for abstinence information and an Association of abstinence advocates.
Christopher West
Christopher West is the foremost expert on giving the Theology of Body on a popular level. He is an extremely popular speaker and author and his CDs and books are highly recommended by Pure By Choice. Christopher explains how our own bodies and sexuality are a sign and symbol of God’s mission for us. While dismissing a negative view of the body, he shows how the Body can produce a Theology to be lived by. Christopher has several different CDs online for several different audiences. Family Research Council
The Family Research Council (www.frc.org) champions marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society. FRC shapes public debate and formulate public policy that values human life and upholds the institutions of marriage and the family. Believing that God is the author of life, liberty, and the family, FRC promotes the Judeo-Christian worldview as the basis for a just, free, and stable society.
Focus on the Family
Focus on the Family's (www.family.org) primary reason for existence is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a practical outreach to homes, having firm beliefs about both the Christian faith and the importance of the family. Specifically, to accomplish that objective by helping to preserve traditional values and the institution of the family.
Heritage Foundation
Founded in 1973, The Heritage Foundation (www.heritage.org) is a research and educational institute - a think tank - whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
Institution of Youth Development
The Institute for Youth Development (IYD) (www.youthdevelopment.org) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that promotes a comprehensive risk avoidance message to youth for five harmful risk behaviors that are inextricably linked: alcohol, drugs, sex, tobacco and violence. IYD believes that children and teens, provided with consistent and sound messages, are capable of making positive choices to avoid these risk behaviors altogether, especially if they are empowered by strong parent and family connections.
Linda Klepacki & David Scherrer
Linda Klepacki, a frequent speaker, has worked in the field of human sexuality education for more than 20 years. She is a registered nurse and holds a master’s of public health degree. She is on staff at Focus on the Family and is the director of ministries for Worth Waiting For.
David Scherrer, a marriage and family counselor who served with Youth for Christ for 22 years, has spoken to tens of thousands of youth and parents about teen sexuality. He is president and founder of Worth Waiting For, a non-profit corporation established in 1995 with the goal to reach youth and their families with the positive choice of sexual purity before marriage and fidelity in marriage.

Jason Evert
Jason and Crystalina Evert and their organization Pure Love Club (www.pureloveclub.com) aim at seeking chastity in youth through a faith-based initiative. Jason is a powerful speaker, author and evangelist who brings a moving message of true love specifically aimed at youth. He was the 2004 Pure By Choice and we highly recommend him both as a speaker and author.
Medical Institute
The Medical Institute for Sexual Health (www.medinstitute.org) identifies, evaluates and communicates credible scientific data in practical, understandable and dynamic formats to promote healthy sexual decisions and behavior in order to dramatically improve the welfare of individuals and society.
A nonprofit medical organization founded in 1992 by Joe S. McIlhaney, Jr., M.D., The Medical Institute confronts the worldwide epidemics of nonmarital pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease with incisive health care data.
